Joe Bartnick is a triple threat standup comic/ writer/ actor. He was born and raised in the City of Champions , Pittsburgh. Pittsburgh taught him how to eat, drink and get out. Joe started doing stand up in San Francisco. Comedy has taken Joe from coffee shops and laundry mats to the Punchline and the places like The Warfield, Nokia Live The Benedum and The Grand Old Opry.
As a writer Joe has written for the Grammy nominated Queen of Mean, Lisa Lampanelli and several other comics. He was a supervising producer on Dogg After Dark. As an actor Joe was in Dirty Jokes :The Movie and plays Vinny in the Playboy Channel’s King of Clubs.
Joe ‘s knowledge and love of sports has made him a regular guest on sports radio around the country.
Joe Bartnick's comedy is not dirty but morally corrupt. Bill Burr called Joe "mellow and loud" because his easy going style belies his razor sharp tongue.
Joe can be seen on the Discovery Channel roasting Tommy Lee and heard on National Lampoon Radio, Playboy Radio and KLAS-FM Los Angeles. Joe performed on the Comedy Central Live Tour, Dave Attell’s Insomniac Tour, San Francisco Comedy Festival, and the Los Angeles Comedy Festival.
Joe’s impeccable joke writing landed him the gig of Lisa Lampanelli, the Queen of Mean’s, head writer, including her Comedy Central and Howard Stern Roasts, The Tonight Show, print interviews, and her Ask Lisa column. Joe also wrote for the Ian Bagg show, Bob and Tom Radio, Comedy Time, and Dogg After Dark with Snoop himself.
Joe can be seen in the films National Lampoon’s Dirty Jokes The Movie, What Dreams May Come, The Last Hurrah, and various viral videos channeling his natural abilities as a tough guy.
