Campus Invasion
1. How do I enter?
You must be a UCLA or USC student to participate in the Laugh Bowl. Send your contact information to Daron.Moore@laughfactory.com. If you have a sample of your work you are welcome to send that too.
2. Is there an entry fee?
No.
3. When will you come to my campus?
We will be at UCLA on Wednesday, November 18th.
We will be at USC on Tuesday November 17th.
4. Will my campus invasion stand-up be filmed?
Yes.
5. How will you film my stand-up?
The Laugh Factory is bringing all its professional camera equipment to make your stand-up look and sound like just like the professionals.
6. What will you do with the film?
We will post all videos online for our voting process.
Online Voting Round One
7. Will my video be posted online?
The top 10 comedians from each campus will have their videos posted on our website under the “contest” section.
8. How will my video get voted on?
You may vote once a day on our website. You can get as many friends and family to vote on your video once per day.
9. Can I vote for my own video?
Yes of course.
10. Can I vote for myself twice?
You can vote on each video once a day. As a note of caution we will disqualify any person we detect is cheating and voting more than once per day on any given video.
11. How do I make it from the campus invasion to the Laugh Bowl Semifinal?
If your stand-up video from our on-campus invasion gets into the top 6 votes then you will be invited to battle your rival school at the Laugh Factory in Hollywood.
Laugh Bowl Semifinal- Thursday, December 3 @ 10PM-12AM (DOORS 9:30PM)
12. How many comedians will make it to the Laugh Bowl Semifinal at the Laugh Factory in Hollywood?
The top 6 videos from each college will be posted online. Therefore 12 comedians will battle at the Semifinal to see who has the best sense of humor.

14. If I make it to the Laugh Bowl Semifinal, how will my performance be judged?
A panel of professional comedians will watch and judge the competition. They will decide who will make it to the Super Laugh Bowl.
15. Who will make it to the next round?
Three comedians from each campus will be picked by the judges and advance to the Open Mics at the Laugh Factory and the Online Voting Round Two.
Tuesday Open Mic- Every Tuesday @ 6:30PM
16. If I am a semifinalist, what do I do now until the Super Laugh Bowl?
Practice, practice, practice! Jamie Masada will work with the top 6 college comedians every Tuesday at 6:30PM for the Open Mic.
17. How do I sign up?
You must email Daron.Moore@laughfactory.com before 6PM on Monday to get on the list for the Tuesday Open Mic.
18. How many Open Mics can I attend?
All Semifinalists are invited to attend every Open Mic until the Super Laugh Bowl.
